Los Angeles, CA — Teen singing sensation Emil walked away last night with with three Independent Music Network Award Nominations. Emil’s 2012 # 1 hit single, “Since You Left,” was nominated Favorite Mainstream Video and Favorite Mainstream Single. He was also nominated for Favorite Mainstream Teen Artist of 2012.

This comes at the same time his current single, “Night Train,” is zooming up the charts and across the airwaves. According to the November 30 issue of the prominent industry trade publication, New Music Weekly, Emil’s single has hit #45 on the highly competitive Hot 100 above such major label acts as Kanye West, Aerosmith and the reigning teen idol, Justin Bieber. On the Hot AC Main Chart, “Night Train” is # 35 and listed s a Prime Mover as well as on the Hot AC Spincrease list.

“Emil’s popular single last summer, ‘Since You Left,’ laid the groundwork for radio to get behind ‘Night Train,’ and move it up the charts,” commented Masika Swain, Associate Editor at New Music Weekly. “It’s a build, and Emil, at 18, is building a strong musical foundation.”

Gary Hendrix, head of the Independent Music Network agrees. “After you have a big hit single, radio and fans start looking for your next song. Last year Emil was nominated for an IMN Award and he won Favorite Teen of 2011. This year is is nominated for three awards as he is coming off the biggest single of his career so far. It is definitely a build and ‘Night Train’ is taking off because of that building process. Right now Emil is # 5 on our IMN Mainstream Chart.”

As all this is happening, Emil is enjoying his Senior year of high school in Castle Rock, Colorado. “I am surprised to get three nominations from IMN,” stated Emil. “I want to say thank you to radio for playing my music, to the fans for supporting me and to my family for helping me go for my dreams.”

For more information on Emil and his music, go to www.emilnow.com.
Teen Singer Emil’s “Night Train”

Becomes Bullet Train on Charts & at Radio

Los Angeles, CA — “Night Train” is the name of teen singing sensation Emil’s current single, but it has turned out to be a bullet train on the national charts as it zooms across the American airwaves. After only two weeks on the Independent Music Network’s Mainstream chart, Emil has cracked the Top 10 coming in at # 8 this week. Meanwhile on New Music Weekly’s Hot 100 (a compilation of all genres), “Night Train” is at # 56 after its October 16 release to radio and is moving faster than songs by such veteran artists as Kanye West, Pink and Mumsford & Sons.

“It is safe to say Emil’s new song is moving quite quickly up the charts,” commented Masika Swain, Associate Editor at New Music Weekly. “He is a known artist who has previously released hit songs, so that always helps. But ‘Night Train’ appears to be moving faster than any other of his singles. Radio has embraced this song.”

According to New Music Weekly’s November 16 issue, “Night Train” debuted at # 40 on the Hot AC Main Chart becoming the # 2 most added song. On the Hot AC Indie chart, Emil is # 13 and # 13 on the Indie Top40 as well. These are impressive numbers for a song that was released one month ago.

“We are opening IMN’s Best of 2012 syndicated radio show with Emil’s ‘Night Train,’” acknowledged Gary Hendrix, head of the Independent Music Network, the leading network for Indie artists and bands. “He has a stong fan base and gains more fans with every single.”

While all this is going on, Emil is enjoying his senior year of high school in Colorado. “I am lucky I can balance the best of both worlds,” he shyly admits. “It was important to me to be a normal high school student and at the same time my music career is important to me too because that is what I want to do when I finish school. I couldn’t do it without my family, friends and support team who always look out for me. And of course, my fans, who make it all worthwhile.”

Los Angeles, CA — Teen singer Emil has radio jumping on board his “Night Train” as the song debuts as the # 1 Most Added Hot AC Single and the # 1 Most Added Top40 Single this week according to the November 2 issue of the prominent industry trade publication, New Music Weekly. Emil’s last single,” Since You Left,” spent nine weeks at the top of the charts and after only one week after its release, “Night Train” is carrying on the Emil tradition of excellence by debuting at # 1 on the Most Added Lists.

“This is an impressive debut,” commented Masika Swain, Associate Editor of New Music Weekly. “When you look at the Hot AC Most Added List, Emil is # 1 his first week out, but he is also above such established singers as Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars and Carrie Underwood. And it is the same way on the Top40 Mosted Added Chart. Emil is above Pink, Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5. Radio is tuning into ‘Night Train’ and Emil.”

But the # 1 Most Added positions are not the only impressive debuts Emil’s “Night Train” has made on the charts this week. On the highly competitive Hot 100 Chart, a compilation of all genres, “Night Train” at # 76, had a higher debut than Kanye West or Kelly Clarkson, # 89 and # 91 respectively.

“Night Train” debuted at # 21 on the Hot AC Indie Chart and was the # 1 song on the Spincrease list. On the Top40 Chart, Emil entered at #27 and is on that Spincrease list as well.

“I am happy that radio likes ‘Night Train’ as much as I do,” acknowledged the 18 year old high school senior. “It is one of my favorite songs and I am so happy to be able to share it with radio and my fans. I want to thank everyone — my fans, radio, my support team — for helping to make my dreams come true.”

Los Angeles, CA — It has been a good and bad week for teen singer Emil. The good is his next single, “Night Train,” is set for release on October 22. The bad? Due to the flu, Emil had to cancel a live U Stream concert on October 14.

“I feel great about my new single, ‘Night Train,’ but physically I feel bad right now. I have a fever, bad cough and just plain old sick,” commented high school senior from his home in Castle Rock, CO. “I am so disappointed I had to cancel my concert in California that was going to be broadcast via U Stream, but it is being rescheduled. So, it will happen, but not on October 14.”

“Night Train” was chosen for the follow up single to Emil’s # 1 hit, “Since You Left,” for two big reasons. One, the fans loved the song this summer when Emil performed it in concert. The second reason is Emil — he loves the song, too. “I really get into ‘Night Train’ when I sing it,” he laughingly admits. “There is something about the song that just hits me and when the fans loved it in concert, it makes sense to release it as my next single. I hope my fans who hear it on the radio will love as much as I do.”

Summer of Record Breaking Charts, Concerts

“Since You Left” Stays at # 1 For 9 Weeks!

Los Angeles, CA — Teen singing sensation Emil returns to high school for his Senior year following a record breaking nine week run at # 1 with his hit single “Since You Left” on the following charts:

#1 Mainstream Chart/Independent Music Network

#1 AC40 Indie Chart/New Music Weekly

#1 Top40 Indie Chart/New Music Weekly

#1 Western Regional Chart/New Music Weekly

For nine straight weeks Emil dominated the charts at # 1, setting the bar extremely high for any artists to follow this year, and assuring himself a place on the awards nomination lists come award season. Emil also made a concert appearance at the famous Whisky A Go Go on the legendary Sunset Strip and at the trendy Amplyfi Club on Melrose in Hollywood. In between his shows, which he rocked with an LA based band, Emil visited Southern California attractions —- Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Universal Studios and of course, Disneyland.

It was a super successful summer for the 18 year old from Castle Rock, Colorado, but now it is time for him to “rock” his Senior year. “That doesn’t mean I am stopping my singing career, because I’m not,” says Emil. “We are deciding my next single and I am keeping up with my vocal training.
“Since You Left” Hits 7 Weeks At # 1 On 4 Charts

Los Angeles, CA —- Seven weeks at # 1 on four national charts is an amazing feat and teen singing sensation Emil has just accomplished it. For seven straight weeks Emil with his current smash hit single, “Since You Left,” has sat at the top position on:

#1 Mainstream Chart/Independent Music Network

#1 AC40 Indie Chart/New Music Weekly

#1 Top40 Indie Chart/New Music Weekly

#1 Western Regional Chart/New Music Weekly

And the impressive numbers don’t stop there. According to the June 29 issue of New Music Weekly Magazines, an influential music industry trade publication, Emil is riding high on numerous other charts as well including # 3 on the super competitive Hot 100 where he is above Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj. Mediabase shows “Since You Left” at # 35 on their AC Chart and FMQB’s Top 200 list Emil at # 13.

“All the facts and figures add to one thing,” stated Masika Swain, New Music Weekly’s Associate editor. “Emil has arrived. He’s the one to watch.”

The head of the Independent Music Network, Gary Hendrix, agrees. “It’s an amazing run at # 1. It shows how popular Emil is and how much people like his music. This young singer has an unlimited future in this industry.”

Many in the industry will be watching him July 10 at the famous Whisky on the legendary Sunset Strip as he kicks off his summer appearances. On July 13, Emil will also do a concert at Amplyfi in the trendy Melrose section of Los Angeles. More appearances are being scheduled.

Ralph Benner, retired publisher of Teen, Tiger beat and many more successful show biz magazines, states: “Emil has what it takes to make it and make it big. He is talented, good looking and has a good team of people surrounding him. All those ingredients add up to success.”

For more information on Emil, his music, and summer of 2012 appearances, go to www.emilnow.com. “Since You Left” is also available on the website and at iTunes and Amazon.com.

Emil Does It Again!

5 Weeks at # 1 On 4 Charts!

“Since You Left” Continues To Roll

Los Angeles, CA —- Teen singer Emil has taken over the # 1 position on four charts for the fifth week in a row with his smash hit single, “Since You Left.”

# 1 Independent Music Network’s Mainstream Chart

# 1 Hot AC Indie/NMW

# 1 Top40 Indie/NMW

# 1 Western Region/NMW

Impressive to say the least for the 18 year old high school student from Castle Rock, Colorado, but four # 1’s is not the end of the chart story. According to the June 15 issue of New Music Weekly, a prominent industry trade publication, Emil is # 3 on the super competitive Hot 100 (a compilation of all genres) above such major label acts as Nicki Minaj, X Factor judge Demi Lovato and teen idol Justin Bieber. His other numbers are equally as impressive:

#8 Top40 Main Chart/NMW

#4 AC40 Main Chart/NMW

#34 AC Mediabase Chart!

#12 Top 200/FMQB

“This is not Emil’s first trip to the rodeo,” laughed Independent Music Network’s head, Gary Hendrix. “He has been releasing songs for several years and making his mark on the charts and shall we say, paying his dues. But it looks like it is his time to shine with ‘Since You Left,’ and he deserves it.”

Emil is not one to sit back on his laurels. Currently, he is in pre-production for his summer appearances, starting off at the famous Whisky on the legendary Sunset Strip on July 10. With vocal preparations, choreography and band rehearsals, Emil’s getting ready to “bring it” in the Summer of 2012.

“I am excited about everything that is happening right now, but I can’t let down. I have work to do,” commented the soft spoken teen. “I want to thank all my fans, all the people at radio and my family for the love and support. I’m working hard to make all of you proud of me because this is my dream coming true.”

4 Charts Show Teen Singer Emil at # 1

“Since You Left” Continues to Makes Huge Impact

Los Angeles, CA —- Last week teen singing sensation Emil was celebrating being #1 on three national charts with his hit single, “Since You Left.” This week there is an even bigger reason to celebrate because the popular teen has taken “Since You Left” to the top of four charts — #1 for the second week in a row on the Independent Music Network’s Mainstream Chart, #1 for the second week on New Music Weekly’s Hot AC Indie and Western Region Charts and #1 for the first time on NMW’s Top40 Indie!

And Emil has other impressive numbers for “Since You Left” as well. According to the June 1 issue of the prominent entertainment industry trade publication, New Music Weekly, Emil is at # 5 on their highly competitive Hot 100 above John Mayer, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. He also hits # 5 on the Hot AC Main and is up a notch on FMQB’s Top 200 at # 12, in addition to making noise at Mediabase AC at #54.

“Emil moves steadily up charts and that is always a sign of a winning song,” commented Gary Hendrix, head of the Independent Music Network. “This song has a lot of life and radio and fans are truly embracing it and Emil.”

While all the # 1 action is taking place and the song continues to gain more and more radio play nationwide, Emil is busy rehearsing for his summer appearances. He will kick off the Summer of 2012 at the famous Whisky on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood on July 10, with other dates to be announced shortly.

“I am so excited about the Whisky,” Emil admitted. “So many greats have performed on that stage. The place is legendary and I am honored to be able to do a concert there. I can’t wait to get to Hollywood, rehearse with the band and meet as many of my fans as possible.”

For more information on Emil, his music, and tickets for the summer of 2012 appearances, go to www.emilnow.com. “Since You Left” is also available on the website and at iTunes and Amazon.com.
