TEEN SINGER EMIL HITS #1 ON 3 CHARTS
Teen Singer Emil Hits # 1 On 3 Charts
“Since You Left” Gains More & More Airplay
Los Angeles, CA —- The old saying “Three’s the charm” may be true for teen singing sensation Emil who hit the coveted # 1 position on three charts this week starting with the Independent Music Network’s Mainstream Chart. According to the May 15 issue of the prominent music industry trade publication New Music Weekly “Since You Left” is # 1 on their Hot AC Indie Chart and also # 1 on the Western Region chart, too.
“To hit # 1 on any chart is a big deal,” stated Gary Hendrix, head of the Independent Music Network. “But to hit # 1 on three different charts in the same week is awesome and I congratulate Emil and his team.”
Masika Swain, the Associate Editor at New Music Weekly, concurs: “Being # 1 on three charts deserves a round of applause. But ‘Since You Left’ has a lot of life and is making moves all over the place. Emil is # 5 on our competitive Hot 100 above some pretty stiff competition. And he is # 2 on NMW’s Top40 Indie and # 8 on the Top40 Main chart.”
“Since You Left” hit # 13 on FMQB’s AC Top 200 and is starting to move on MediaBase, coming in at # 50 this week above American Idol’s Kris Allen and veteran hit maker, Lionel Richie.
As the school year ends for this talented 18 year old, Emil plans to spend his summer vacation on the road performing, meeting as many fans as possible and making new ones along the way. “I have some gigs booked in Los Angeles and I can’t wait to get on the stage with the band and just have fun,” laughed Emil, who is currently in rehearsals for his upcoming tour. Information on his concert dates will be forthcoming.
